New Year's Eve 1999

A SILVER PARTY!
Of course, what better way to ring in the Year 2000 than decorate ourselves with tin foil ?!?! . . . . . . . . hhhhmmmmmm . . . . . . .

We were a group of seven attending the Silver Millennium Party, so I thought a Group Theme was called for . . . I came up with the idea to spell a word. We each wore a letter all night long and let our fellow revelers guess what we spelled. Just before midnight, we arranged ourselves in the proper order to reveal our truth . . . S U R V I V E.
I thought this was in tune with all the Y2K hype, while also making a statement that we did. Not to mention I was critically influenced by Victor Navone's Alien Song animation. If you haven't seen it yet, please visit his website and check it out. It's the most entertaining 3.5 mb you will ever download. I promise!

The illustrious Dr. Stewart. Please note the antennae.

A great time was had by all!

And yes, that is a big steaming mug of tea in my hand. . . it was cold and rainy as the millennium dawned in the mountainous rainforests of Dominica...

Andrew was in attendance, as was Raina. They slept through the entire party until the countdown to midnight...

Thanks to our hosts Oliver, Paddington, Carol and Allen for providing the venue and DELICIOUS food.
And Thanks to John and Stewart for making it all happen in Silver!
